Honest moment here:  I did not love the Best of Everything stamp set when it first came out.  I hope that you know me well enough by now, that if I don't like something – I don't trash it, I simply don't show it or endorse it.  Just because it is something that is offered, doesn't mean that I have to love it, or say that I love it.  When I say that I like/love something, it is genuine.

So onto the story of this set – it came out, I didn't love it.  It has a fat bird on it, no coordinating punches and just wasn't my cuppa tea.  This is a set that I forced myself to use and the more I used it, the more I came to enjoy it, the love came much later.  What I did love initially, and still love to this day, is the sentiment that I used on this card, “All I want for you is the best of everything”.  As a mom, this says exactly what I want for Emily.  I want her to learn, to grow, to struggle with some things and to come out ahead able to experience the best of everything.  This sentiment is all over her scrapbooks.

The more I reached for it for scrapbooking, the more I used the other stamps as well.  It is one of my favorites now, but it is because I made it personal.  This is another retiring keeper of mine.
