What About Making Your Own Gift Bag?

Recently I received this email, “Meg, I feel a bit more comfortable actually giving away my cards, and I made a birthday card to go along with a gift – but then I wasn’t happy with the wrapping, do you ever make your own wrapping paper or gift bag?” Have you ever felt like this?  Has your most awesome-est handmade card made your gift pale in comparison? There are two things I really, really, honestly and truly never want to do in this world, ok the list is a bit longer, but we will only cover these two today.  First, I never want to have to buy a card.  Second, I never want to buy another gift bag – EVER! Last Day, Last Chance to Grab Sale-a-Bration Goodness

If you have a list of paper crafting goodies that you need, do it today – it is the last day to grab all that goodness that Sale-a-Bration brings into a paper crafters play area!   Your time is literally running out, and I don’t want you sitting around this weekend being the only card maker or scrapbooker without the fun items like the ribbon and button pack (my club girls learned a fun way to use those last night!) or needing a cute bandaid stamp to scrapbook your kiddo’s booboos (come on, you KNOW you do that).  Or that paper – while not originally my favorite, it is down to the wire and I am getting more, I have fallen in LLLLLove with...

Stampin' Up!'s Take It To Heart stamp set is incredibly wicked cool.  Why?  Because it has coordinating framelits.  Why does this make it wicked cool rather than just cool?  Because you can make a card using the stamp set and the framelits in under 5 minutes!  Don't believe me?  Guess what – I have made a video that I will be sharing later today that shows you just how to make this card in under five minutes.  Also on the video, I will share the inspiration for my color choices for this card, and I am sure that several of you will know exactly what I am talking about.  If you had a bike in the 80's,...

Stampin’ Up!’s Travel Log

I was needing a great card for a friend that is about to travel and I wanted to drop a card in the mail that let her know how excited I am for her travels and the wonderful places she is going.  This was an idea that started at convention and this is the final card… Now when I first saw this stamp set from the mini catalog, I thought *scrapbooking*!  But I honestly use it more for cards!  Now, we have seen the big catalog, and this is not in there, so odds say, that pretty soon it will retire forever, so be sure to grab it up while you can.  Here are the quick links that take you right to the ordering page for this stamp set: Travel Log in...
