Thank You Cards From A 4 Year Old

Emily celebrated her birthday over the 4th holiday, and we finished up her thank you cards tonight, I am going on the better late than never theory, but do you know how frustrating it can be to have a 4 year old write out Thank You Cards?  Thanks to Stampin' Up!'s Simple Birthday Thanks, it was made much easier!  Love this jumbo stamp!

Cookie Monster

Ok, so some projects just flat out make me hungry!  And I have to post this one before I eat it!  My sweet Wendi made this and gave it to me at convention - Love this, especially with yummy cookies on the inside!

This Cookie Monster is made using Stampin' Up!'s Scallop Die and then our Stampin' Up! punches, lots of circle punches and our Stampin' Up! Scallop Punch, pair it with our cello bags and add cookies!  SUPER CUTE!

Stampin' Up! Clubs!

I have to be honest, my clubs are one of my favorite things.  Why?  Because it is like Christmas every time the orders arrive.  It does not matter if you are a card maker or scrapbooker, our products work perfectly for both hobbies.  I should have taken a picture, but imagine this...

The UPS man (or as Emily still says, "It's the PS Mam!") arrives, I have stalked him, checking out the window multiple times a day whenever I hear the hint of a car coming down the street, he arrives.  Now, allow me to say that I have a very scared, timid PS Mam, compared to my usual guy.  And he really does not understand why I fling the door open to grab my boxes, he doesn't get it at all.  Which is why I am sure he no longer rings the doorbell, he drops and runs. 

So I hear the engine sound, jump over the sofa (not really, but I picture myself doing this so gracefully that I conjure up images of an Olympic athlete hurdling over the sofa and mini wall we have) and make it to the front door, open it so sweetly, grab the boxes, the scissors, the bags and the markers and I instantly know how Santa's elves feel seeing all the presents before they go out. 

My club members pick everything from Stampin' Up! that I do not have.  I try to be sure to always wipe the drool off their goodies before I bag it all up.  You know, as well as I do, that nothing looks as great as when you are holding it in your hand.  I put together my wish lists based on what is in those boxes. 

WAIT - It's a too'fer day - double PS Mam deliveries, and you are witness to it!!!  Can you believe that as I was typing about the PS Mam, he magically arrives a second time?  Fate, yes, I think so!  Oooh, it was new Stampin' Up! designer series paper - super, super cute!!!  But not mine, it was Cassie's!

Big Day Today!

WOWSERS!  What an awesome, fun day today!  I cannot even really begin to describe how I felt going through today, but I have never had a day like it.  Today (sort of) started our Stampin' Up! convention.  Today was check in day.  Which includes getting your convention bag, getting in line to shop at Memento Mall and going to pick up any awards that you have earned over the past year. 

This year was a special treat, there are six of my team members here at convention with me.  All but one, this is their first year.  And there is nothing like your first convention!  There is so much excitement, you wish you could bottle up and store it for later! 

So we shopped, got our bags and headed to awards.  Now I knew that there were a couple of goodies to pick up at the awards booth.  I have the best stampers and the best team you could ever imagine.  And together, we have all had a great year.  So the lady behind the booth/counter asked my name and printed up what I would receive and handed me a white Stampin' Up! bag (you would all recognize the bag, it is what your orders are in) and said, "Ok, that is all".  And THEN, a moment in time later, could have been a second, a minute, two hours, I have no clue how much time lapsed, she reached under the counter and pulled out THE BAG! 

So what is THE BAG?  It is not the bag that is the big deal, it is what it represents.  It represents Founder's Circle achievers!  Stampin' Up! awards the top 100 ranked demonstrators (Founder's Circle Achievers) with an incredible trip in the fall like none other and in your bag is all your trip info.  And of course there is more, but I am will get into all that another time.  But yes, yours truly, who set this goal a while back earned it!  I don't cry often and the tears came!  It was incredible!  

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  To all of you!  I cannot share with you the extreme gratitude to all of you!  It is not even possible!  Every time you ask and I have a workshop together, you come to club, you ask me about a project, a technique, anything, you encourage me to do more.  You encourage me to learn more, to teach more, to share more.  And that is what has made the difference.  I have always been determined to be the best at what I do, and I love what I do!  I love what "going to work" means for me - it is like nothing else I have ever done!

What could possibly make today more incredible?  Sharing it with my group that was right there screaming for me!  Remember when I said I have an awesome team?  Here are some of them...

   

So do you wanna see the bag?  Yes, I even took a picture of that!  It is really pretty!  So tomorrow we kick off convention - I know I will learn a lot to share with you! 

Almost off to bed!

We made it up here to Salt Lake City today!  After a day of flying, eating at California Pizza Kitchen, shopping at Christopher and Banks, dashing back for happy hour at the hotel, a quick visit to the treadmill, a shower in the entirely hot/entirely cold shower, a phone call to the kiddo and hubby and I am off to bed.
