We have moved!!!

Well, we have moved out and have not moved in anywhere yet.  We sold our house in two weeks and had less than 10 days to be out, totally insane!  But if you go to my house right now, a new delightful family will be there. 

And as I type this, we are trying to figure out phone service for the new house and the interim as we are living at a hotel.  The house number may have to change, just so that you know.

As for the new address, keep us in your prayers and keep your fingers crossed!  We have found a great house in a great neighborhood and hopefully will close on that September 4th.  It is in Teravista and we are excited to be in our new home soon.

Swaps!

So what are swaps?  Swaps are the fronts of cards that you make a ton of one card and then when you are around thousands of your closest friends, you trade them like baseball cards!  We do this to gain ideas, have fun, look at pretty things and it is just fun to walk up to other stampers with cards in a baggie and say "Swap?"  Now, this comes out as a question, but truly is a statement.  And if you can see their card before you actually utter the word, and you like it, then the statement is transformed and while it sounds the same, it really means, "I must have your card, it is beautiful and I will stalk you until I get one!"

What does pretty look like?

One of the fun things that we have done is gone out to Riverton, Utah to the Stampin' Up! home office.  This is like the dream place to be.  Everywhere you look there are stamps!  And punches!  And paper!  And oh my gosh, I just cannot explain it all!

So there is an area called the Legacy Room.  In this room you can see the original catalog, mag plates (the dies for the stamps), and some very familiar "rooms".  Think Ikea where they have all the mock rooms that they photogragh for the catalogs. 

Very, very pretty!

Why it is GREAT to be a demonstrator at convention!!!

We are here and convention starts bright and REALLY early first thing tomorrow.  Today was check in day, shopping day, tour day and some classes.

This is my precious group, Aimee and Kim that came with me this year!  We are standing in front of the home office at Stampin' Up!  It was awesome to share this with them.  We saw the "pick line" which is the assembly line for all of the incredible stamps, inks, papers, and accessories go into the boxes that UPS delivers to ME!!! 
So, in a sea of thousands of boxes, I am trying to imagine where mine are and it was amazing! 

This corporate office is by far the most amazing office you could ever imagine!  And I have been in many, many of them in my life.  I can see why the everyone who works here is happy.  Oh, yeah, and I think I broke the Coke machine.
