It is that awesome time of year again! Our Stampin' Up! convention is right around the corner! I often get asked what we do and my usual response is...
It is a very serious business trip. I go with my girlfriends to a city far, far away from home without spouse or child. We eat out, no dishes! We shop, a lot! WE STAMP!!! We have a fun awards nights. They teach us fun tricks with new products. WE STAMP!!! We learn helpful ideas on how to provide income for our family. We sleep in fluffy beds on sheets that we did not have to wash (no laundry!), we make coffee when we wake up and don't have to fix a juice cup to go with it! And did I mention that WE STAMP!!! Oh, and not just stamp, but stamp with FREE STAMPS! I always say that Free Stamps Stamp Better! And we also get to purchase some of the fun Demonstrator only items. (Remember the Raspberry Tart 12 x 12 paper holder?)
These are some of my friends from last year. I will miss Heidi and Sheri not being there!!!
I am excited that we have over 30 in our group going. Kim Williams and Aimee Jarzabek are joining us for the first time and I can't wait to share convention with them!

OK, so many know that I fear technology, and many do not believe me. They say, well you have a website and a blog and more email addresses than anyone can remember, you can edit pictures, create documents, etc.
And yes, I can do all of that (and play a mean game of solitaire) but it takes me FOREVER!!! What takes a normal person 5 minutes can easily take me 5 hours.
Matt and I have been needing new phones for months and months and months. We both took ours 'swimming' in March. I dropped mine while getting the all important pre-Hawaii pedicure. Yep, dropped it right in the soak tub. Matt baptized his on a day in Hawaii when he made sure (multiple times) that I did not take my cell phone with me to the beach, because we did not need it at the beach. We got there, dropped our gear, he walked out in the ocean, a wave hit his leg and instantly he felt HIS cell phone bump into his leg. Mine had dried out (tip - should you ever drop your cell into the tub while getting a pedicure, take the battery out and put it in the nail dryer!!!) so we were able to use mine, but I had gotten the ever stylish Go Phone just in case we needed it. Matt's never recovered. So Matt got to keep mine, I kept the ever stylish Go Phone and that is what we have had ever since. Matt's "new" phone shuts off whenever it wants and mine, well, I think you get the picture.
So fast forward to today. We arrive at AT&T for the 3rd time this week. We applied for early replacement phones. And after a week, we were approved.
Now, we are those annoying people that only use a phone as a phone. I have never sent a text, emailed a picture, nothing. I push numbers, call someone, talk, hang up and drop it back in my purse.
So now I have a mental image for you. Picture Jethro and Ellie Mae. It was honestly...

My precious, sweet Matt, was hurt last week while at work. He was working a car accident and another vehicle hit him while he was walking around the back of one of the involved cars. He is fine, but very sore. It spun him, and spun him fast. He is doing physical therapy and is much more mad about it than anything else. He has not returned to work yet, and overdid it this weekend and is even more sore.
So with that, and trying so hard to get the house ready to put on the market, sadly, I have not been on the computer. I wish I could type, take pictures, pack boxes, and create all at one time!!!

When you register, I purchase materials for you, reserve your space (potentially turning other customers away), and prepare the materials for your projects.
