I Love Mr. Brown!

Where, oh where, is my UPS man?  Oh, where, oh where, can he be?  Every demonstrator with Stampin' Up! has come dangerously close to either stalking or kissing their UPS man!  There is so much excitement with knowing that somewhere, on a brown truck, there is a box of stamps, ink pads, pretty paper and of course ribbon, that is supposed to arrive at my house, NOW!  And today is no exception - he is out there, somewhere.... somewhere....He needs to get here, he will get here...where is he?

I am always fascinated by what my daughter picks up on.  Whether she imitates a hand gesture, repeats a word (she maybe shouldn't have heard), or whatever, it is very entertaining.  So with that being said, I will let you know, that EVERYTIME the door bell rings, she will yell out, "It's the PS Mam!!!"

So if you see him today, would you please do whatever you need to do to grab him, and ask him if he has my box, and do whatever needs to be done to make him bring stop everything and get it here now??!!!  You will be greatly rewarded for your efforts!!!

Why do I love my Big Shot?

To answer this question that I get asked a lot, I created my Top 5 list!

• 1.  I can use it for card making, scrapbooking, home decor, gifts, EVERYTHING!
• 2.  I can cut up to 5 pieces of cardstock at one time!  Saves me time!!
• 3.  Simple to use.  My daughter is (almost) 3 and she can use it.

• 5.  NO PLUG!  This is huge!  No programming, no sizing, no electricity, just crank the handle and you are done!

I am a firm believer in the KISS philosophy (Keep It Simple Stamper!) I don't have hours and hours to just sit around and do nothing but stamp (oh, but I can dream!).  So I needed something that was easy to use and I did not want to "learn" another electronic device. 

After looking at several different die cut machines, I had decided on either the Big Kick or the Big Shot.  I wanted a machine that was versatile, would accommodate all different die sizes.  I wanted more power than a hand held.  No batteries, I hate replacing batteries.  And could not take up too much room.  I was planning to purchase one after coming home from convention last year.  When they announced at Convention that we would be carrying the Big Shot, it was a simple answer at that point.  And when they announced that we would have our own exclusive dies that match our stamps, I thought I had died and gone to Stamp Heaven!

Leslie's Party!

Leslie had her stamping party this month and you would be amazed at how many stampers we fit in one room!  Everyone made a Father's Day card and a fun Friendship card.  Leslie got some great hostess benefits too!  I can't wait to see what she creates with her friends.
