Last Chance Party and More!

Our Last Chance Stamp Set list will be posted on June 1st, 2009 along with our Last Chance Accessories.

With any of our Idea Books and Catalogs, we retire stamps and accessories out of our current catalog to prepare for the upcoming catalog that will release on July 1st. 

Our Stamp Sets that will retire will be available through June 30 while our accessories will retire as soon as supplies are depleted.  I encourage you to take a look on the 1st and stock up on any accessories right away as most will be depleted in a day or two.

All of our In Colors will retire.  Be sure to order your re-inkers, extra cardstock and ribbon that use:  Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, and Pacific Point.  I would not wait until June 1st because these will go so quickly!

Computer Back Up!

I am always impressed by friends of mine that work everyday with computers.  Several of my friends work for Apple or Dell and I am amazed that you can deal with these machines on a day to day basis!

After some technical difficulties, the posts to my blog are now working better than ever!

And I was touched by how many of you asked me about it and where the fun ideas were.

Award Winning Stamps!!!

Stampin' Up! Wins Readers' Choice Award

For the ninth year in a row, our rubber stamps have won the prestigious Readers' Choice award from Creating Keepsakes. We are very grateful for this recognition from the crafting community and proud of the quality and artistic diversity represented in our stamps. Other products to win in their respective categories this year were our Spring-Summer 2008 Idea Book & Catalog as well as our Write Me a Memory Font CD.

Just Buzzin' By Stamp Set Spotlight

This stamp set is so versatile and can be used with several different color palettes!  So I wanted to share with you why this is one of my favorite stamp sets...

This is a very simple, single layer card, that definitely shows as a WOW! card.  Simply stamp the images in Basic Black Classic Ink and color in with our fun colored pencils.  At the base, add some shading for the 'grounding' effect.

This next card uses our Brilliant Blue for a background color and scenery added with a lighter blue for the sky and green for the grass.  Throw in some punched flowers and some fun brads for dimension. 

The Bee Hive is best stamped on Summer Sun cardstock in Basic Black and just add some brown ink across the bottom, then trim out.

This fun version adds lots of fun layers and a fun Riding Hood Red for pop of color.  And what makes that big scallop?  A Big Shot Die, of course!  But I love how the colored brads add some pop to the side of the card!

Be sure to try out this fun color combo:  Riding Hood Red, So Saffron and Basic Black.

This cute card throws some Bashful Blue into the mix!  I love Bashful Blue with our Black Gingham Ribbon, just makes for a great mix!  And all that was done to add the dots to the scallop circles and along bottom edge scallop was a little paper piercing using tools from our Crafter's Tool Kit!  Simple, fast and super cute!

Have you decided that you have to have this set yet? 

I had to throw in one more that includes a fun fold.  It did not photograph well, but can you see the vertical line in the Summer Sun background color?  That line is a score line of a Z fold card.  If you would like to learn more about Z folds, please call me!

"What are you doing?"

 That is the simple question being heard around the world on Twitter.  Follow your family, friends, favorite celebrities, and of course, your favorite stamper and find out what everyone is doing!  This social medium has become a sensation like no other!  Get tweets (the message) on your computer on directly on your cell phone.

Why Twitter?  In 140 characters or less, you can:

1. Let your friends know what you’re doing all at the same time.
2. Ask your friends a question.
3. Share important news.
4. Get important news.
5. Strengthen relationships with those you care about.

Great examples:
